ModelCo's make-up director Leiane Taylor - who's worked her magic on the likes of Nicole Richie, Lily Allen, Helena Christensen, Sophie Dahl and Jennifer Love Hewitt - gives us the lowdown on how to glow with perfection.
Where: "You should add shimmer anywhere where the light naturally hits," says Leiane. "So brow bones, cheekbones, the Cupid's bow of your lips, down the bridge of your nose, the shoulders, décolletage, legs and feet."
Why: "Adding shimmer instantly illuminates the skin and accentuates your features," she says. "Adding it to your cheek and brow bones makes them pop and gives the illusion of more definition. By adding sparkle to the Cupid's bow of your lip, your lips will instantly appear plumper - this is a popular runway trick!
Also, for longer-looking pins, run a shimmer stick down the front of your legs for instantly leaner-looking legs."
For first-timers: "You really can't go wrong with a spray, such as ModelCo's Shimmer Airbrush Illuminiser - just apply a fine mist over your face, hair and body for an instant hit of radiance," says Leiane.
What to avoid: She warns, "Don't go overboard! A luxurious yet subtle look is sexy and chic - avoid products with lots of glitter in them as it can look a little tacky."
