While other stars may have put their treasured Oscars in a cabinet or mantelpiece, Best Actress winner,
Sandra Bullock has asked her husband
Jesse James to stick her trophy onto her car. “I’m going to have Jesse weld the Oscar to the hood of the car,” she said. “It will be there to remind me as I do the school and grocery runs. I’m taking my award food shopping. More people will see it.”
Sandra, who won the Academy Award for her role in
The Blind Side, says she’s still coming to terms with the win where she beat out accomplished actresses
Meryl Streep and
Helen Mirren. “It’s really hard for it to sink in. Now I can go days without wearing make-up, eating cheeseburgers, get back to my life walking the dogs and doing the things that everybody else does. I’m glad I got to share this time and exhilaration with extraordinarily beautiful and talented women.”
