Rob begs Kristen: "Marry me!"
Just like his traditionalist alter ego Edward Cullen,
Robert Pattinson is planning on getting down on bended knee and asking for
Kristen Stewart’s hand in marriage.
“Rob is going to ask Kristen to marry him!” reveals a friend of the on and off-screen lovers.
“He’s already picked out a ring and made the plans for the big proposal. And don’t worry about spoiling it for Kristen – she’s in on the whole thing and even helped pick out her engagement band!”
After meeting and falling in love during production of
Twilight in 2008, the couple are ready to make their relationship a legally binding one, claims the source.
“They are so in sync with each other that Rob couldn’t even hide the fact that he was planning to ask her to marry him from her,” explains the insider, adding that Rob, 25, got so anxious about popping the question that he eventually spilled the beans and asked Kristen to help him.
“When she was in LA, they went ring shopping together and she picked out a gorgeous princess-cut five-carat diamond ring that costs over $80,000 from a jeweller on Rodeo Drive,” says the source, noting that Kristen described it as “the most beautiful ring she’s ever seen”.
