Kate Moss' Big Fat Gypsy Wedding
When supermodel
Kate Moss married rocker
Jamie Hince, the ceremony was a little bit elegant and a little bit rock 'n' roll. Now Mossy has revealed the inspiration behind her big day.
Kate has revealed that her nuptials were heavily influenced by her favourite TV show,
Big Fat Gypsy Weddings! "I am so romantic about gypsies," she told British
Vogue. "You can't believe the dresses. They're like blinging butterflies times ten; they can't move down the aisle! It's so genius."
Kate's big day involved 16 bridesmaids, a carnival tent and teepees to entertain children; custom-made cocktails called "Kate 76" made with vodka, champagne, crushed ice and sugar and has revealed the after-wedding party was influenced by F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic book,
The Great Gatsby.
"The details are intense," the model revealed. "I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus. That light and that kind of fun decadence. It's rock-'n'-roll Great Gatsby!"
