Jennifer Aniston has agreed to guest star on her BFF
Courteney Cox-Arquette’s hit show
Cougar Town. In the first episode of the second series, Jen will play a therapist named Bonnie who Courteney’s character visits for counselling.
“[Bonnie] is kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist,” explained the show’s executive producer, Bill Lawrence. “Those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway.”
If all goes well, it looks like the former Friends co-stars may be reunited on our screens more permanently. “We’re very intentionally implying that it’s a therapist Courteney’s character has been using for a while, and we’re not going to make it look like they’ll never see each other again,” said Bill. “So I’m crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it’ll happen again.”
Last time we saw the two stars on screen together, Jen made an infamous cameo on
Dirt where the two besties locked lips.
