George jealous of Rob
Let us get this straight –
George Clooney is jealous… of another man’s looks? At the Film Critic’s Circle Awards, George admitted he was glad he didn’t have to compete with
Robert Pattinson for film roles. “Thank God I don’t have to. He’s young and handsome and talented.”
The playful feud between the former Sexiest Man Alive and the world’s hottest vampire was brought into the spotlight by George’s
Up In The Air co-star
Anna Kendrick, who also stars in
Twilight and
New Moon with Rob.
Talking to
Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month, Anna revealed George teased her on the
Up In The Air set about working with the vampire pin-up. “George gave me such a hard time about shooting
Twilight,” she told Ellen. “Whenever I came back, it was like, ‘Oh sorry, this isn’t the
Twilight set. You’re not working with Mr. Handsome.’ He called Rob ‘Mr. Handsome.’”
The friendly fight then continued, with Anna giving George a copy of GQ signed by Rob saying, “To George, Best of Luck. Hang in there. Love Rob.” Not being one to back down, George promptly sent an Esquire cover back signed, “Dear Rob, Thanks for all the inspiration. I’m a huge fan. Love, George, two-time ‘Sexiest Man Alive.’”
