We did our finest “I told-you-so” dance when Nicole Richie confirmed last week’s story – yes, she and Joel are engaged and planning a wedding. Yay! Bring on the dress (will it be boho?), the venue (beach?), the cake (fat-free?)... Quote of the week goes to Nicole’s dad Lionel, who says, “I am not sure who is luckier, Nicole and Joel to have each other, or me, to have both of them in my life. I cannot wait to give away the bride!” Aaawww.
See, the stars really are just like us, wanting to celebrate life’s milestones with their nearest and dearest. And the things worth fighting for stay the same: family, friends, health and happiness.
Clearly, Angelina and Brad have decided that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, so well done them for deciding to work through their issues. They’ve drawn up a seven-point action plan to save their relationship and relocated the whole family to Venice, Italy.
It’s the most gorgeously romantic city in the world so they couldn’t have picked a better place to get that spark back. We’re holding out for the first picture of Brad serenading Ange in a gondola. Now that we'd
