With her toned figure and girl-next-door appeal, Erin McNaught was the natural choice when Antz Pantz were looking for the face and body for their latest campaign. And the 27-year-old's star is definitely on the rise - she's just landed a gig as an MTV VJ. Here, Erin talks about keeping in shape, loving her bum and going under the knife.
Do you get nervous stripping down to your undies for shoots?I'm used to just standing there in my G-string! I'm so bad, I just forget. When I was doing this shoot I had to go to the toilet and I just wandered out and someone was like, "Oh, do you want a T-shirt?" And I was like, "Oh yeah, I suppose I should." But intially modelling made me less confident because it's hard to not take it personally when you get knock-backs at castings.
What's your favourite part of your body?My bum. It always stays in good shape, regardless of whether I put on weight or not.
What are you insecure about?My love handles! It's the first place I put on weight.
How do you keep in shape?I walk as much as I can. Living in Bondi, you walk everywhere anyway because parking is such a nightmare. I used to be a gym junkie but I went through a stage where I was going out four times a week and I was overdoing it and got sick. Ever sine I've tried to take it a bit easier and just go a couple of times a week.
Do you believe in diets?No, I don't. I just try to eat healthily most of the time. It's a bit hypocritical of me to say that, because I do love pigging out, and then two weeks from a shoot I start panicking and watch what I eat.
What's your food weakness?I love pizza and eat it all the time.
Which celebrity body do you admire?Miranda Kerr's. I'd loev to have a body like hers. It's not my natural body shape, though. I'd love to be a Victoria's Secret Angel. I think it's every girl's dream.
Would you ever have plastic surgery?
I'd never say never. When I was about 18 I went through a stage where I was insecure about my breasts, because they're pretty small. I considered getting a boob job but I'm glad I never took that step.
