White Tie & Tiara Ball

Sir Elton John's lavish 12th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball (to benefit The Elton John AIDS Foundation in association with Chopard) - hosted by David Furnish - was inspired by the 'star' of the event: Lady Gaga who dressed up as a bride from an Edgar Allan Poe horror tale.

“It’s a Lady Gaga Wonderland,” said Sir Elton, as he mingled in the grounds with 650 guests, many of whom appeared bemused by the strait-jacketed performance artists dangling from the trees, and the “men-in-white-coats” and “bandaged” waiters serving cocktails in medicine bottles, and canapés in metal surgical trays.
