Looks like Lindsay Lohan's luck evading the law has finally run out. Despite crying, pleading and sobbing in court, the 24-year-old star couldn't manage to convince the judge to let her off this time.
The has-been actress, who claimed to be too busy "working" to attend her alcohol classes, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation. Lindsay was originally busted back in 2007 for drunk driving, and was ordered to complete a 27-week alcohol education course, but never showed up.
The judge sternly pointed out that Lindsay had lied previously and thought she was above the law. "It's like someone who cheats but doesn't think it's cheating if they don't get caught," she said.
Lindsay now has to surrender herself by 8:30am on July 20 - and continue wearing the SCRAM bracelet.
Perhaps Lindsay is a better actress than we've been giving her credit for - although she appeared distraught and remorseful at the trial, her brightly painted nails sent quite a different message to the judge.
