Born to an African-American working class family, Michael performed with his brothers in the Jackson 5. It was not until 1978 that Michael shocked the World with his solo performances “Don’t stop til you get enough” and “Rock with you”. This followed ‘Thriller’ in 1982, creating seven top 10 hits. By this stage Jackson was a glorified veteran performer. From here he signed a $5 million endorsement deal with Pepsi, which proved a very unfortunate move. He was badly burnt filming a Pepsi commercial. This led him to have plastic surgery to his face and consequently he began experimenting with different forms of plastic surgery. He dramatically altered his face and especially his nose for coming years. In 1994 accusations of child molestation were made against Jackson, however the case was settled in court. Jackson died in 2009 suffering a cardiac arrest due to unknown causes. Excessive plastic surgery aside Jackson was the undoubtedly the King of Pop.
