Celebs with Sticky Fingers

Early this week British TV presenter Peaches Geldof was caught shoplifting £70 worth of low-end cosmetics from UK Chemist Boots.

It’s not the first time the star has landed in hot water for pilfering goods, yet the harshest punishment she’s ever received is a ‘ban’ from the store in question.

Countless other celebs have received nothing more than a slap on the wrist for stealing, but there are a few cautionary tales (Lindsay, Winona). But why do they do it in the first place?
